FOLLOWING RECENT EVENTS RELATED TO COVID-19:
The sudden closure of our resorts in March 2020 was a huge shock, and we have to admit that we were unprepared for such circumstances. Looking forward to next season we are extremely conscious of the need for you to be able to book your ski lessons and equipment with confidence this winter. This is why, we have been working hard behind the scenes, to put new protocols in place allowing us to update our terms and conditions.
In general, our cancellation policy is unchanged, meaning that you can make a ski school or ski hire booking and receive a full refund if that booking is cancelled more than one calendar month from the start date of that booking. This means that if you make a booking starting on 20th February 2021 you can cancel this anytime up until 20th January 2021. Cancellations made within one month of the start date of the booking are generally non-refundable.
HOWEVER, we have added some new terms which apply in the case of a further outbreak of COVID-19 (or similar pandemic) as follows:
- If any of our resorts are subject to an administrative closure by the French government due to COVID-19 / another pandemic, Oxygene will refund all clients who booked lessons due to take place after the date of closure.
- If travel restrictions, imposed by your government or ours, prevent you from travelling to resort to participate in the lessons you had booked, Oxygene will refund you in full. This includes if governments impose quarantine on arrival in France or your home country.
For information and to be as clear as possible, if there are no restrictions in place and you decide not to travel for a COVID-19 or pandemic related reason, our usual terms and conditions apply.
Likewise, if you fall ill with COVID-19 and have to cancel your lessons within 1 month of your lessons starting, Oxygene considers this to be a cancellation due to illness and will apply our usual terms and conditions and will provide you with confirmation that you were unable to attend your lessons so you can make a claim on your travel insurance.
