Le Grand-Bornand is one of the most beautiful resorts in the French Alps, a village with great skiing in winter that combines the charm of its two hundred year old chalets with the facilities of a modern ski resort. It is easily accessible being close to Geneva and Annecy and boasts beautiful views over the Aravis mountain range. The resort is split into 2 villages – Grand Bornand Village, at 1,000m altitude, is the main shopping and residential hub of the resort whilst Le Chinaillon, at 1,300m is the site of the old village (with chalets dating back to the 17th century) and the main ski lift hub.

If your children have been following the previous medal programme, don’t worry. Here at Starski we have a medal programme with the equivalent levels and medals. We want our students to keep learning and progressing, to have a measure of their success and a reward at the end. Our children’s medal programme starts with Snowbears; 3 and 4-year-olds experiencing skiing for the first time and goes all the way up to the teen Pro Rider level.
