LA PLAGNE RESORT INFORMATION.

La Plagne was created in 1960, with the first ski lifts opening in December 1961 – two drag lifts accessing 4 different slopes. The resort is made up of a number of small villages that are connected by free gondolas and busses, and of course the huge network of ski lifts and slopes. Over the years La Plagne developed into one of the best ski destinations in France.

THE OLYMPIC BOBSLEIGH

La Plagne also boasts the only Olympic Bobsleigh piste in France which was made for the 1992 Albertville Winter Olympics, which is still open to the public today.
