Take advantage of your holiday this winter to discover new activities to do in the mountains with your partner! We give you some ideas to spend a romantic and unforgettable moment…
A First Tracks outing in Tignes
What could be more romantic than having breakfast while admiring the sun rising over the surrounding peaks? You can join a First Tracks session in Tignes this winter and take advantage of how peaceful the ski area is before the lifts open. Put on your skins and let your Oxygene instructor guide you, you don’t need to be an expert in ski touring, you just need to be motivated. Connect with the surrounding mountains and be at one with nature, admire the fantastic views and the immensity of the peaks. The only noise you’ll hear is the crunch of snow under your skis.
When the sun rises as you climb to the summit, you’ll realise exactly how magnificent it is! Take a break while having breakfast with your other half and take in the views. Then comes the time to head back down, simply take off the skins and let yourself slide to the resort. Romantic First Tracks bliss…
Ski touring equipment is provided. For more information, contact our Oxygene team in Tignes.
Electric mountain biking in Val d’Isère (eMTB on snow)
Heading out on snow on an electric mountain bike is great for discovering the hidden corners of our mountains, and what an experience to do as a couple! With Oxygene in Val d’Isere you can choose between a 1h or 1h30 outing, either in the morning or the afternoon. You’ll discover mountain biking in a fun and accessible way. If you and your partner have different levels of fitness, then no problem with our eMTBs.The electric assistance can really help give that boost, making it so much easier to pedal uphill! Your instructor will be happy to share the stories of Val d’Isere and point out the different peaks you can see.
An e-mountain bike ride is the perfect opportunity to discover the mountains in a different way and to try out a new activity with your other half in magnificent surroundings. As Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, the famous French writer and poet (among many things!) once said “Love does not consist in gazing at each other, but in looking outward together in the same direction”.
Choose between Ride or Adventure mode, the e-MTB adapts to your pace. All the equipment (mountain bike, gloves, helmet, protection) is included. The Oxygene team in Val d’Isere is ready and waiting for your arrival in resort.
