OXYGENE SKI ACADEMY

The Oxygene Ski Academy is a ski instructor training programme for people who are serious about becoming a ski instructor. We will teach you the skills and techniques required to turn your passion for skiing into a rewarding career on the slopes.

With over 25 years’ experience on the slopes, we have mastered the fine art of teaching. We know what it takes to become a qualified ski instructor. We are here to impart our knowledge on all areas of the ski instructor profession.

MORE THAN JUST TRAINING

We’re so confident in our work, we guarantee our students a career within one of our 9 ski schools in the French Alps from the moment you pass your Test Technique. Join us in one of the biggest ski areas in the world : Paradiski, the 3 Valleys or Val d’Isère.

A 13-WEEK PROGRAMME

 We will train you to pass the Test Technique, the first step on the road to qualification as an alpine ski instructor in France. Oxygene offers a 24 hour per week programme (312 hours minimum for €4,600) or a 30 hour per week programme (390 hours minimum for €5,600). Both programmes include:

Technical training provided by coaches dedicated to the Ski Academy
A season-long Paradiski lift pass
Gym membership in La Plagne
FFS licence (including insurance)
Pre-season altitude acclimatisation training
Psychological preparation sessions
Information and support with the administrative side of the diploma curriculum
A permanent slalom set up and ski room
Teaching materials (gates, timers etc)
Video feedback sessions
Logistical support (eg. minibus to get to exams / competitions)

Competition is tough. But we’re tougher. We push dedicated skiers to their full potential, guiding them turn by turn to finish with the knowledge, stamina and unparalleled confidence to race ahead of the rest.

GET INVOLVED.

To take part in the Oxygène Ski Academy applicants must be aged 17+, have proof of enrolment or completion of a European recognised basic teaching course (e.g. BASI Level 2) and demonstrate serious commitment and ambition towards gaining a career in this field. Competitive alpine racing or freestyle skiing experience is desired, but not essential.
