SPRING IS HERE
Late Season Skiing is a big party, going on across all the ski resorts in the Alps. It’s the time to reunite and celebrate together the end of the winter, slowly leaving its place to the shining sun and the warmth of the spring.
GOOD SNOW GOOD WEATHER : PERFECT CONDITIONS FOR FIRST-TIMERS
This season, the snow has been here to stay. This week our resorts will receive their last snow fall, up to 30 cms, just the right amount to ensure the slopes remain perfectly snowy and good to ride on. And with the last snow fall the sun will be shining, perfect conditions making us perfectly happy. Hit the sunny terraces and slopes, replace your ski goggles with sunglasses, down filled jackets with light-weight jackets, and with the longer days the sun will warm up the atmosphere across all the resorts. Let’s go, shall we? If you are not lucky enough to see the mountains that often, or if you have never been skiing, this is the perfect time for you to discover the mountains at their best. Cold and snowy weather is not an option in April, spring ski holidays are all about “ski, dance and sun”. Book yourself into the best holidays, at a discounted end of season price and make the most of the snowy sunny mountains in April.

Concerts, festivals and animations are flourishing, mixing up to create the most colourful and best tasting cocktail you can sample in the mountains. Here are some examples of the ski resorts’ best choices for your late season skiing holidays:
- Val d’isère : closing week, yoga festival, concerts, Adventure movie festival, and of course the eternal apres-ski parties for everyone from teens to kids to adults. From April 27th to May 1st, make the most of the all-inclusive offers and get a liftpass for €1. For families, La Tania has its Family Day on the 9th of April : facepainting by Oxygène, games and music, BBQ and goodies will animate the heart of the Three Valley’s best kept secret. But don’t forget to visit Courchevel’s best apres-ski spots in order to live the mountains’ best experience.
Don’t want to go too crazy with your children or teens? La Folie Douce is your best bet. Find it on the slopes (Val d’Isère and Méribel-Courchevel).
