CAN I SKI IN APRIL?

THE SHORT ANSWER IS YES!

Late season skiing is a great time to hit the slopes in many of the ski resorts across the Alps. It’s time to get together and celebrate the end of the winter, as the snow gradually starts to melt as it makes way for the warmth of the spring.

GOOD SNOW, GOOD WEATHER : PERFECT CONDITIONS FOR FIRST-TIMERS

first time skiers on the slopes with Oxygene instructorThis season, the snow has been here to stay. This week our resorts will receive their last snow fall of the season, up to 30 cms, just the right amount to ensure the slopes remain perfectly snowy and great to ride on. And after the last snowfall the sun is forecast to shine, producing perfect conditions. Hit the sunny terraces and slopes, swap your ski goggles for sunglasses, down-filled jackets with light-weight jackets, and make the most of the longer days. Let’s go, shall we? If you are not lucky enough to see the mountains that often, or if you have never been skiing, this is the perfect time for you to discover the mountains at their best. Cold and snowy weather is not an option in April, spring ski holidays are all about “ski, dance and sun”. Book yourself a great holiday, at a discounted end of season price and make the most of the snowy, sunny mountains in April.
